Licensing

The TRS University trains medical transcriptionists based on the Model Curriculum from the American Association for Medical Transcription (AAMT). Courses include anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, legal issues related to healthcare documentation, and English grammar and punctuation. Courses are taught by experienced medical transcriptionists. The program is overseen by a team of experienced educators. The program also includes an internship to give students real life experience in the industry. Successful completion of this program will produce a work ready MT in six months of full time coursework.
